DOUGLAS
CORBIN
After seventeen years handling security issues worldwide as a Diplomatic Security Agent for the US Department of State, Corbin Douglas turned to fiction, focusing on writing about places he has been to and things he has witnessed. His debut action thriller, Death Cruise, draws on experiences from visits to 76 countries—most of which won't be found in any travel brochure.
Before joining the diplomatic corps, Douglas served as both a police officer and a US Marine, collecting enough unusual stories to fuel several writing careers. With certifications in crime scene investigation, and other esoteric areas, his fiction is informed by experiences far more extraordinary than anything he could invent.
These days, Douglas has traded deserts and monsoons for the rivers and lakes of the Pacific Northwest, where he lives with his wife, kids, and dogs. When not writing, he can be found on the ski slopes—or hiking mountain trails with his faithful Australian cattle dog while keeping a watchful eye out for bears and cryptids.
After completing his first novel, Douglas plans to continue writing in the same "universe," possibly expanding it into several loosely related books.
